- Experience of managing machining shop with 20+ CNC, VMC, Grinding machines
- Should be able to manage New Product Development with optimum cost, quality and process parameters
- Optimise manufacturing processes and cost
- Experience in QMS and SCM
- Thorough understanding of quality standard IATF 16949
- Interact with the customers and key suppliers
- Plan and control production activities based on the manufacturing schedules
- Do root cause analysis of any rejection to correct the process and prevent any future rejections
- Work with quality assurance and Production heads for improving quality and productivity
- Manage new product development
Qualifications & Experience:
- Engineering degree / diploma holder of Mechanical Engineering
- Relevant experience of 15-20 years in engineering machining shop
Skills and Abilities
- Good people management skills
- Good knowledge of MS suites and ERP system
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Quick learner with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong sense of time organization and urgency
- Decision making
- Able to work with the superiors, subordinates as well as independently
